Ngao Asoke [Premiere Episode] (Pong&Pueng)

Ok so the premiere episode was today and I would have to say not bad for a remake so far. Pong fits the role amazingly well. How did I guess that was going to happen? LOL. The boy is not extremely good looking, but he is hot and he does fit the playboy role. There were a few differences from the beginning of this version to the old like in the beginning of the previous version started off where they were already grown up and Veeyada had recieved the letter from Monthai confirming his non-return to Thailand and she decides to throw all his stuff out and Peeyachat keeps all of the stuff.

Veeyada has given up completely on Monthai or so we believe. Well afterwards it goes into like a flashback kind of and tells the story of what happened leading him to go to Australia and never wanting to return home. Also we see Fang playing as Lukkana and she fits well, but I wish her role would be more significant! If not Pah the girl who plays Veeyada sister in this version is (Mod 3G) then at least play the teacher who helps Peeyachat later on. I hate how she’s gonna die! Also in this version Mod is shown right away in the old version we don’t see Pah as a grown up right away until after Monthai leaves. Also in this version there isn’t a flashback type story it just starts right when we see little Peeyachat attempting to help her grandmother work. Pei being an annoying chicken with her head cut off as usual and here are some caps! I’m gonna be glued on this one!
The cast is doing a good job so far the only thing I disagree with is the woman who plays Monthai’s mom and the woman who plays Veeyada’s mom. Monthai’s mom is to mean and psycho looking. The original version Monthai’s mom is mean at the beginning but then goes crazy and gets nice in this one I don’t know how that woman will pull of the nice look because I don’t see it. Also Veeyada’s mom in this version looks wayyy to nice. In the old version she is scheming even as far as trying to get Preeyachat to be her husband’s “mistress” that way he won’t have one outside of the house. So I don’t see how she fits the role neither but she’s a great actress so I’m sure she can pull it off.
