It's obvious that if she cries for Cartoon that they have close ties. How strong they think their ties are is a different issue. Just from reading the article it sounds to me like Cheer loves Cartoon more than Cartoon loves Cheer. There's also nothing wrong about crying for a friend. It doesn't make you a lesbian and it doesn't make you weak. Not everything in the entertainment industry is about money, fame and status. Who are we to judge and tell Cheer that she should grow up and not cry over her friends? She's not some iron woman. Anyhow, what I'm saying is coming from what I read in this article only since I don't know the whole story. Instead of criticizing Cheer, I feel sorry for her instead.
